Tergooiziekenhuizen
Tergooiziekenhuizen originated from a merge of two hospitals in Blaricum and Hilversum. In order to utilise synergy advantages, Emeritor completed a procurement program in 2009 and 2010. All expenses have been screened and retendered. This resulted in a saving of 15 % on medical as well as non-medical procurement packages, without quality loss.
The procurement department is restructured. Systems are combined and reorganised. The procure-to-pay process is placed in an E-procurement system, enabling the management to be in control of the authorisation of purchasing expenditures and the administration.
Leo Schoots, chairman of the board of directors regarding the project: “Procurement to me the core process to be in control of our expenditures.”
