Emeritor Procurement Maturity Model®
The Emeritor ‘Procurement Maturity- or Procurement Development Model’ is developed in 1998 to support organisations in their efforts to create a professional procurement function and a uniform reference. Since it was launched the model has been, and still is, along with the Emeritor House of Procurement®, the backbone of our services.
The model is based on the 'Capability Maturity Model’ of the "Software Engineering Institute”.
The Emeritor model addresses four aspects:
- current level of "maturity" of a procurement organisation;
- the potential to optimise the current approach;
- the potential to add value to and increase cost savings of procurement;
- the steps that lead to these improvements.
We address these aspects by assessing the baseline, both qualitatively and quantitatively, which leads to an improvement plan.
The model is successfully used in commercial business, public authorities and health care.
