What characterizes Emeritor?
I like to work at Emeritor because of to the diversity of jobs, customers and people. Also contributing to a satisfied customer gives a boost of energy. Building a professional organization and working on the development of a team of top Juniors is for me the icing on the cake. "
- Vicky Wagemakers - Jansen, Managing Consultant
We have grown since we started in 1998 and currently we have about 100 employees working for us. Emeritor strives towards using its employees in fields they are good at and stimulates personal development.
This means that a lot of our colleagues have been working for Emeritor for a long time. We would love to introduce a few of them.
Edwin is managing consultant at Emeritor and leads procurement improvement programs, primarily in the public sector. Content-wise, he is more specialised in change management, financial and qualitative procurement analysis and complex (European) tenders. For clients, he is often the linking pin between board and the organisation. Additionally, he devotes a lot of attention to coaching (junior) colleagues within Emeritor and making them enthusiastic.
Caroline van den Bosch &
Cees Ubink, Founders
Emeritor was founded in 1998 from the idea that procurement has a lot to offer organisations. At that time, the profession was still in its infancy. Cees Ubink and Caroline van den Bosch built a company with hands-on, result-oriented procurement consultants. By now, Emeritor is market leader in the Netherlands and employs more than 100 people that start every single day from the belief that procurement has everything to contribute to the success of their clients. What happened since the beginning and what is still on the agenda?
Margreth van Deuren,
The face of Emeritor
Just be yourself!
If there ever was a motto that was right for Emeritor, it’s this: “Just be yourself!” Taking the floor is Margreth van Deuren, administrative employee and telephonist of Emeritor. “This is one of the reasons why I feel so at home here. I started working here in February of 2004. Before that, I worked in the furniture branch, amongst other places. For me, it’s impossible to compare Emeritor to other companies that I know and not just because of the specialisation in the field of procurement.
